Lisa Lines is a research and publications manager at a health economics consulting firm, and occasionally freelances as an editor, writer, analyst, and web designer. Her work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed and professional medical publications. She has worked primarily in healthcare since 1997, having held positions at a large academic hospital, a managed care organization, a healthcare management consulting firm, and a clinical research organization. Having seen the healthcare industry from multiple perspectives, Lisa has a unique understanding of how healthcare and medicine are delivered in the United States.

Lisa has a Master of Public Health from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where her focus was on health policy and health services research. Previously, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Scientific and Technical Communications with a concentration in Health Services from Northeastern University.

From her home base in a small town about 25 miles west of Boston, Lisa enjoys hiking, gardening, and renovating her century-old Victorian farmhouse. Lisa is also an active member of several community groups and serves on the Board of Directors of an arts organization.
